About Feels
Feels is a dating app from a French startup. TechCrunch reported in April 2021 that Daniel Cheaib was its co-founder and chief executive, and that the company's main market was France.
Profiles on Feels look like stories or TikTok posts, built from video, text, stickers, photos and answers to questions. Each profile fills the screen with autoplaying video. There is no like button: users react to content or swipe up to move on, rather than swiping left or right. The app offers gender identity options beyond woman or man and lets users filter who they see.
At the time of the April 2021 report Feels said it had 100,000 users and aimed to reach one million by the end of 2021. It had raised a $1.3 million (€1.1 million) round from business angels including Blaise Matuidi, Eric Besson and René Ricol. It earned revenue from a premium subscription, which the company was still refining. Creating a profile took about 15 minutes, and the company said completion of the sign-up flow had risen from about 30 percent to about 75 percent of new users.
In 2026 DII has referred to Feels as a video-first dating app that struggled to gain traction.
