Christof Wittig is Co-Founder and CEO of Hornet, a social network for gay, bi and queer men that positions itself as a community-first alternative to hook-up-focused platforms. A Stanford GSB graduate and serial tech entrepreneur, Wittig built Hornet with a clear editorial and social mission alongside its dating functionality — the platform carries LGBTQ+ news, community features and health resources alongside its matching tools. Under his leadership Hornet has grown to over 35 million users worldwide with particular strength in Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, regions where LGBTQ+ dating infrastructure has historically been underserved.
