About TeaOnHer

TeaOnHer was a mobile app that launched in early August 2025 as a male-oriented counterpart to Tea, the women-only app where users post about men they have dated. It let men share photos and details of women they had dated. Global Dating Insights reported that the iOS app was published by Newville Media Corporation under chief executive Xavier Lampkin, had about 53,000 users in its first week, and ranked second in Apple's Lifestyle category.

Within days of launch, TechCrunch reported that the app exposed user data, including email addresses, driving licence images and selfies, through publicly accessible web links, and that the developer had not replied to the reporters' requests for contact. Global Dating Insights and Bitdefender relayed the report.

On 23 October 2025 Apple confirmed that it had removed both Tea and TeaOnHer from the App Store in all regions. Apple said the apps breached App Review Guidelines on moderation of objectionable content and misuse of personal information, and that it had received an excessive number of user complaints, including reports of minors' details being posted. Dating Industry Insights described TeaOnHer in March 2026 as a short-lived app that suffered its own data breach and was discontinued.
