About Rebounce
Rebounce is a platform for divorced, separated and widowed singles in India. Dating Industry Insights reports that it is the product of QuackQuack, whose founder and chief executive Ravi Mittal has spoken for the platform in DII coverage.
In August 2026 Mittal disclosed that Rebounce had attracted 700,000 profiles since launch. DII noted that it was unclear whether this meant registered users, active profiles or total sign-ups, and that revenue, monetisation and retention were not disclosed. Mittal said the platform was seeing uptake in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities as well as the large metropolitan centres.
The product is built around what Mittal calls practical compatibility. It includes fields for disclosing children, parenting arrangements and how a new relationship would fit with existing family structures, rather than the education, salary and family background criteria common on Indian matrimonial sites. Mittal said the platform discourages AI-generated or heavily filtered profile images because of catfishing concerns, while allowing AI help with writing profiles or conversation starters.
In January 2026 DII also reported a survey of 5,834 divorced or separated Rebounce users aged 27 to 40, published by the platform. DII noted that it was a self-selected sample and that the platform has a commercial interest in how the results are framed.
