About Matchmaker.com

Matchmaker.com is a marketplace that refers singles to professional matchmakers. Rather than offering swiping or matching itself, it asks users a short series of questions about location, age, income, preferences and relationship goals, and then matches them with a suitable matchmaker. The client then works directly with that matchmaker, who handles introductions and ongoing guidance.

The platform launched on 2 April 2026. Global Dating Insights reported that it was founded by Ophir Laizerovich, co-founder of LeadThink, who has a background in business development and performance marketing, and Mark Brooks, a longtime adviser to online dating companies who is the company's CEO. Brooks also runs the consultancy Courtland Brooks. For matchmakers, the site offers a way to reach new clients without conventional lead-generation methods.

Dating Industry Insights questioned whether the model is a genuine marketplace or lead generation, noting that user numbers, revenue structure and matchmaker vetting criteria had not been disclosed, and that professional matchmaking has no standard credentials. It also pointed out that a typical matchmaker can handle only 20 to 40 active clients at once, which limits scale. The site says it works only with the top 10 per cent of matchmakers, a claim that is the company's own and unverified.
