Biography

Rakesh Naidu is the founder of Fate, a swipeless dating app. He is named as the contact on a May 2025 press release issued for Fate Dating APP LTD, which announced a London launch. The release said the app would be available to download in the UK from 27 June 2025, with international rollout planned for later, and that it had been built over two years with the development firm MTECHHub.

Fate says its recommendations improve over time based on user behaviour. In July 2026 the company said the app had passed 10,000 installs and launched Fate IRL, a series of in-person events. The first two London events, on 18 and 21 July 2026, sold out, and a third was added for 1 August. Each event is limited to 20 participants, 10 men and 10 women, who go on ten five-minute dates. Premium subscribers get priority access and attend free, and active users can apply through the app. Fate plans more cities after London.

Naidu has said the aim is to improve the quality of offline introductions rather than simply fill event spaces. He argues that many dating events are built around filling seats, not curating compatibility. The sources do not give his earlier career.
