Penny Chen is a co-founder of Yeet and leads its marketing. A press release in April 2026 describes her as Co-Founder and Marketing Head at Yeet, and she gave an interview to ViralNation in which she is introduced as co-founder and head of marketing.
Yeet is a dating app that grew out of a Discord server. Before the app was finished, the team created a community called the Founder Club, where members discussed their dating experiences. Chen has said the club has stayed at about 2,000 members and that its main purpose is product insight rather than customer acquisition. Early feedback centred on swipe fatigue, ghosting, stalled conversations and frustration with the talking stage.
On 15 April 2026 Yeet announced an AI agent-led dating experience built around Yeeta, an AI agent that offers icebreakers, games and conversation prompts without taking over or impersonating user conversations. Another feature, Vibin' Chats, lets two compatible users who are both online start a real-time conversation before deciding whether to match.
