Biography
Delbert Ty was chief marketing officer of Coffee Meets Bagel (CMB). Global Dating Insights reported on 24 April 2025 that he had left the role, saying CMB was now headed in a different direction. Under his leadership the company reported more than 50% growth, and he shifted the brand towards user-generated content, introduced a four-day work week and launched a feature letting users buy and send flowers with in-app currency.
Before CMB he held marketing roles at Circles.Life, Duracell and Procter & Gamble. After leaving he founded the brand consultancy TynkTank Pte Ltd and works as a fractional CMO for clients including an eCommerce platform and an AI marketing start-up.
Dating Industry Insights, in a July 2026 interview piece, notes that after the departure of the longstanding CMO, CMB has decentralised marketing to regional teams.
