Biography
Anna Rowe is a co-founder of LoveSaid, which DII describes as a romance fraud charity. Her work focuses on the safety of people who use dating services and on survivors of romance fraud and abuse.
Rowe is the originator of the Romance Abuse Framework. The Online Dating and Discovery Association (ODDA), the dating industry trade body, has formally endorsed the framework. It was first piloted through ODDA's Consumer Safety Panel.
ODDA launched the Consumer Safety Panel on 8 October 2026 at its Annual Conference in Westminster. The panel will have 12 to 16 members across four groups: people who have lived through romance fraud or abuse, ordinary users, independent experts and advocates. It is run jointly by ODDA and Rowe. Sessions are trauma-informed, so members share only what they choose to. The panel's views are intended to feed into ODDA's standards, policy positions and research, and ODDA member companies can bring new safety features and policies to it. For the dating industry, Rowe is a named contact point for survivor-informed safety input, particularly as UK regulator Ofcom asks dating services to consult experts and learn from survivors.
