## About Robyn Exton

Since launching HER in 2013, Robyn Exton has transformed the landscape for LGBTQ+ women and non-binary individuals seeking meaningful connections, building what has become the world's largest dating and social networking platform dedicated to this community. As Founder and CEO, the British entrepreneur operates from San Francisco, where she oversees a platform that extends beyond traditional dating to foster genuine community engagement. Her leadership has established HER as both a commercial success and a vital safe space within the digital ecosystem.

Exton's entrepreneurial journey began with bootstrapping HER from the ground up, demonstrating her commitment and vision before eventually securing venture capital to scale the platform. This early self-funded phase proved instrumental in shaping the company's community-first ethos and product philosophy. Her ability to navigate the challenging landscape of tech fundraising while maintaining the platform's authentic mission has positioned her as a respected figure among founder-CEOs in the dating technology sector.

What distinguishes Exton's leadership is her broader influence on inclusive product design and LGBTQ+ representation within the technology industry. She has become a sought-after speaker on topics ranging from building products for underserved communities to ensuring authentic visibility in digital spaces. Her strategic expertise lies not only in understanding the unique needs of LGBTQ+ users but in translating that understanding into product features and community experiences that resonate deeply, setting standards for inclusive innovation that extend well beyond the dating industry itself.
