## Biography

Anirban Banerjee is a co-founder of Flutrr, a dating app serving the Indian market. He served as the company's chief marketing officer before moving into the chief executive role. In July 2026 Flutrr announced a leadership change in which Banerjee moved from chief marketing officer to interim chief executive officer, while Ankit Santra took over as chief marketing officer. The company's announcement praised Banerjee's brand-building strength. Dating Industry Insights reported that the announcement contained no user numbers, growth figures or funding details, and that it did not explain the reason for the change or say whether the chief executive appointment will become permanent. Flutrr operates in a market that Dating Industry Insights describes as dominated by Tinder and Bumble, with local players competing on matrimonial adjacency and language support. Banerjee's move places a co-founder in the top operating role at an independent app that, according to the same report, launched without the venture backing that supported some of its competitors.
